STEAM-BENT COFFEE TABLE

A structural, solid material is organically manipulated to mirror the fluidity found in its natural environment. Wave brings a sense of serenity to a residential space, with its gently powerful presence.

PRODUCT — WAVE

A suspended table top floats above curvilinear forms created by steam bending solid walnut in a sensual, contemporary design. 

Using the same two-part mold to steam bend each piece of 3/4" walnut, the strips are then offset from one another and cut to length. The use of one mold reduces material usage and ensures continuity in the waved curves.
